God exists in community. He is the Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. Likewise, God has created and designed people to interact with and love one another (John 13:35). At Veritas, one of the ways that we interact with, and love one another is through “community groups.” On a weekly basis, people meet in homes to eat together, pray together, and talk about Jesus. You don’t have to be a church member or even a Christian to join one of these groups. Everyone is welcome.
What happens at a community group gathering? Simply put – real community. Real community as in real people coming together with real blessings and real problems, sharing real life together. Single people, couples, and entire families with children of any age are welcome as we come together to enjoy one another and encourage one another toward Jesus. While the specific details of each community group gathering will vary, all groups most likely do 3 things together – share a meal, pray for one another, and enjoy a discussion centered on the sermon last preached at Veritas.
