Creeds & Confessions

At Veritas Church we regard sound doctrine highly. Sound doctrine provides a lens through which we can assess and address the issues of daily life, such as how we view and deal with family, work, politics, dating,  entertainment, finances, marriage, and education. Visit this page for the details of what we believe and teach at Veritas.

 Introduction to Veritas

“Introduction to Veritas” is a quarterly class designed to introduce people to Veritas Church, specifically ‘who we are,’ and ‘what we believe.’ If you’re interested in learning more about our church, this class is a great place to start. As well, this class is required for membership.

 Bookstore

Because our Sunday worship service is a bit different than many contemporary Christian churches, we are often asked to describe the thinking behind the structure of our service. The “Frequently Asked Questions” page will help you understand the thoughts and theology that undergird our worship services.

 Sermons

Preaching at Veritas is expositional – the content of the passage of Scripture controls the content of the sermon. While our sermon series typically alternate between the Old and New Testaments, all our preaching is driven by the Gospel – God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

While preaching at Veritas is typically a verse-by-verse exposition of a book of the Bible, occasionally a particularly timely topic triggers a short sermon series. Whether focused on a book of the Bible, or focused upon a topic, rest assured that all preaching at Veritas is driven by the central Gospel theme – God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
