Weekly Services

  • Our adult Sunday School classes meet weekly from 9:15-10:00am and serve to help us work out the practical implications of our faith and life together.

Our children's classes are aimed at further exposing our kids to the teaching of Scripture and the promise of the gospel. Along with teaching from the Scriptures, we emphasize Bible memory, catechism, and prayer.

  • Our main gathering of the week is where we pray, hear and sing God's word, and respond to him. You can read more about this gathering here.

  • Each week we gather together to hear ministry updates, pray, and a brief exhortation from Scripture. This is an informal gathering and has a family feel to it as we focus on praying together and considering our ministry to one another, our community, and the nations.

If you're interested in learning more about the community of Veritas Church, our Sunday evening prayer service is a great way to do that.

What to Expect

Regardless if you've grown up in church, or have never been to church before, we hope you will feel welcomed at Veritas Church as you encounter the truth of God's Word and the love of God's people.

Plan your visit.

  • Our morning worship service runs about 90 minutes long, and we usually end around noon. Our service focuses on congregational worship, including song, prayer, the public reading of Scripture, and the preaching of God's Word. You can read more about this service here.

  • We are located in Roseville, CA just north of the historic old town and rail yards. Our church building is visible from Washington Blvd and there is plenty of parking for when you arrive. If you are visiting for the first time, please let one of our greeters know as they would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

  • Our congregation largely reflects the range of people that live within Placer County. Even the way we dress can significantly vary, as some people choose to dress more formal, but many choose to dress casually. On some mornings it is not uncommon to spot a bow-tie and a hoodie in the same room! More importantly, we seek to be unified in any diversity. Ultimately, it is not our dress, location, or hobbies that unite us, but our union in Christ.

  • We offer childcare during our morning worship for children 5 and under. It is not required that you send your children to these classes, as we encourage families to worship together. But these classes are available and the children will be dismissed in the hymn just prior to the sermon. For more information about our children's ministry, read here.
